My first festival-submitted screenplay is directly based on my middle school experience of receiving an undercut from my sister. This short script is my way of reflecting on the event and understanding the repercussions I faced from my family.

A broke sister who feels obligated to get something for her sister’s birthday which is the very next day. In the end she learns that it’s the thoughts that count. A short film I submitted as part of my cinematic arts portfolio at LACHSA, an art high school I was accepted in yet could not attend due to the commute.

Independent Works
March 2021, About Animal Euthanasia | PSA, digital video, 2 minutes, Position: editor. This was created for the community project that every 8th grader completes at the El Segundo Middle School. Due to lockdown from Covid-19, our grade were to only create a public service announcement or a letter to a figure of authority who can help bring change to a specific cause. My cause was to raise awareness on animal euthanasia in shelters. I edited stock footage because nearby shelters were closed for public.
December 2021, a day wandering in Seattle, digital video, 47 seconds, Position: I filmed and edited all the footage. This was a simple montage of a weekend spent with my brother in Seattle. I played around with different camera movements and created a rain effect in the fusion tab of Davinci Resolve for the ending of the video.
